WSNC 90.5 FM listener-members can receive a t-shirt with the image of a local jazz music performer with a gift to the station of $40 or more.
"Photographer Owens Daniels was generous enough to allow WSNC radio to use images from a one-man show he presented called, 'Birth Of the Cool,' said WSNC's Acting General Manager, Ben Donnelly. "The exhibit included photographs of some of Winston-Salem's best-known jazz musicians including trumpeter Joe Robinson, bass player Matt Kendrick and singer Diana Tuffin."
The photographs are part of a image campaign for the station called "Locally Sourced."
"Winston-Salem is fortunate to have a robust community of musicians, many of whom play and teach jazz music," said Donnelly. "We are proud of our local musicians and their contributions to educate, inform and entertain audiences with jazz."
Gifts to WSNC radio can be made safely and securely at www.wsncradio.org. Just click the red button in the top right corner of the page that says, "Donate."
