90.5 WSNC-FM 40th ANNIVERSARY

SAVE JAZZ

OurSAVE JAZZ campaign is a 365-day effort on our behalf to appeal to Jazz lovers here in the Triad and beyond to really support our efforts to maintain our programming focus on keeping the legendary artform of JAZZalive on terrestrial radio.

We are listener supported via tax-deductible contributions. This year as part of our 40th celebration, our ask…….that you become a Sustaining Member with a minimum monthly commitment of $10.00……or $120.00 for the year.  That’s all.  Consider this, we’ve grown from 10,000 listeners a week in 2017 to approximately 50,000+ listeners per week……a 400% growth in listenership.  If just 5,000 listeners made our asking commitment, that would provide us with $600,000……a little bit more than our current costs to operate our radio station annually.  All of our funding and expenditures are public record, we’re audited annually and make those records available to the public, a requirement for Public Radio.
