Phil Allen Bio

Hi, I’m Phil Allen, Assistant Program Director here at W S N C – F M. I’m the host of the “Jazz While You Work” segment heard weekdays from noon till 3 pm. You could say I have the soundtrack for your lunch hour.

I’ve been a radio professional, non-stop, since 1985. I’ve worked radio in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio as well as all over the Carolinas, with the latest stop being here in the triad, namely Winston-Salem.

In addition to radio and other entertainment activities, I enjoy shooting pictures. If you see me around the triad with camera in hand shooting scenery, sporting events or concerts, be sure to “say hi!”
